Started the Half Diet Last Monday

I started what I call the Half Diet last Monday (1/2 - fitting huh?). I still eat all the same foods I like (including fast food), I just eat half a portion. I've cut out unhealthy snacking and I've started working out again.

Back in High School I lost 60 lbs in about year this way. I've got about 50 to lose this time.

So far so good: I've lost about 4 lbs! I still get to eat dessert, I just split it with my wife!

I figure I used to eat about 3,000 calories a day, so half would bring me to about 1,500 -1,600 which is where I need to be to lose weight.
